- Be intentional about praising God, even when you don’t feel like it. Not sure what to say? Check out the Psalms, especially Psalm 100.
- Make time to meditate on God and his Word. Start by listening to praise music you enjoy. Don’t select music you think you have to listen to. Then follow up with the Word. Choose a passage that speaks of God’s love for you, such as John 14:21, Romans 5:8 or Romans 8:38–39. Wrap things up with a time of pray—your chance to respond to God’s love for you.
