- Check out these friendship Scriptures: 1 Samuel 18:1–3; 20:17; Proverbs 17:17 and 18:24. How can you show this kind of loyalty these verses describe? Pray about it.
- Sometimes we have to overlook the countless little wrongs that our friends and family do to us—just as they have to overlook our less-than-perfect moments, too. “Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you” (Colossians 3:13). That doesn’t mean we roll over and take abuse, but it does mean that we should cut each other some slack.
