- The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin. Don’t ignore him (see Hebrews 4:7)! If you do, you risk hardening your heart and losing your spiritual sensitivity (see 1 Thessalonians 5:19). Ask the Lord to make you aware of wrong words and habits.
- If you’re struggling with swearing, ask someone to hold you accountable and pray for you (see James 5:16). That accountability check will help you be more aware of what you’re saying.
