- Never underestimate the power of prayer. If your friend is going through a crisis, don’t just pray for healing—pray for peace for your friend and her family, for support for them in a time of crisis, for God’s wisdom in how to be a good friend to her, etc. See 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18.
