>> Thoughts to Ponder
- Post this verse on your bathroom mirror: “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well” (Psalm 139:14).
- Pray. When you’re feeling depressed about your appearance and tempted to do harsh things to your body, tell God. “Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice” (Psalm 55:17). Catch that? Anytime of day, mealtime or anytime in between. God is always ready to listen and help.
- Bulimia doesn’t work! It won’t make you healthy, thin or beautiful. Over time it has a horrible effect on your body. And it can mess up your eating and metabolism for the rest of your life.
